My Crazy 2 Year Old...ODIN!!!

He wanted to eat lunch on the couch but he is a messy boy so we laid down a towel on his lap and put his food on it...now it thinks that is how everyone should eat...what was I thinking...

This is how Odin goes down slides...no one showed him to do this...he saw a bar above the slide so he would grab onto it and swing like a monkey and then drop on his butt down the slide...this kid finds a jungle gym out of anything he plays with....The pictures don't capture how funny it was to watch...but just use your imagination...

These are some of the many looks I get from him on a daily basis...they are dang funny looks he comes up with...if I knew where he was getting some of them and if I only knew what he was thinking some of the time...

This was Odin in our car after swim lessons...he wore these sunglasses that he got from a Happy Meal all through his swim lessons and on our way to go get Cort from the babysitters...
sometimes he did have them on the right way but for the most part he wore them upside down or on his head..he even feel asleep with them on his eyes upside down after swim lessons...it was so dang funny and precious...
he is such a silly little man...and he is always is making me laugh!!...
I love him so much and I wouldn't trade him in for anything...

Some Comparisson Pictures...

O.K.... so I was going through some of the pictures to post and I found some that I have took of Stetson Cort that are similar to ones we took of Odin as a baby...so I thought I would put them side by side and see the comparison...it turned out kind of fun to see how much they look a like and how they do similar things...they are definitely not a like in every way...they have very different personalities...I will post more comparison pictures as I come across them...

Sunday Dinner at the Taylors

On Sunday June 21st, 2009 we spent the afternoon at the In-Laws house...we try to make it to their house once a month but we have been slacking off...This Sunday they had a new water toy they wanted to try out with Odin and so we did that and Odin loved it and so did Grandpa Taylor and Chuck...us girls stayed just far enough away not to get wet but to enjoy how much fun they had...it is always fun to go see them on Sunday and have dinner with them and catch up and let them enjoy the boys...Thanks for dinner Grandma and Grandpa Taylor....

A Day at Zion

On June 20th, 2009 we decided to take advantage of the free day at Zion National Park...We had attempted taking Odin up there once before and it was winter time and they were not charging to walk in but it was so cold we didn't stay long...

so I called up my parents and let them know we were going and they decided to join us...Odin had a GREAT Time and we had fun watching him...we did the Weeping Rock hike...which we thought would be a good one but it is pretty steep and he wanted to be right by the edge...go figure our fearless child wanting to be by the edge...so Chuck and I had to keep a good eye on him...needless to say when we were done my heart was definitely beating...
we had a good time as a family and hopefully we will be able to do it again in August...

My Nephew BRAYTON

This is Brayton with his little brother the day before his birthday (Sunday July 19th)

On July 20th was our Nephews-BRAYTON-Birthday!!! We were lucky enough to be up there for family vacation the weekend before...his birthday was on Monday and we got to see him on Friday and Saturday and Sunday before...He is the first born of Chucks brother Gary and his sister-in-law Brittney...they live in Taylorsville....I remember when Brayton was born...Chuck was gone on active duty and I left and went to Salt Lake with my In-Laws just a few days after he was born...I was so excited to meet him and get to spend some time with all of them...I took some fun pictures of him in some of Chucks Army clothes to send to him...it was a lot of fun...he is such a cute little boy and such a well manored little boy...he is generous and non-confrontational...he let Odin play with his new toys and was so nice to him and patient with Odin...Odin doesn't have to share his toys with anyone yet so it was hard for him to share the toys with Brayton, even though they were Braytons toys...and Brayton was such a trooper while we tried to teach Odin to share with Brayton...Brayton was such a good example to Odin and I have a feeling he will be that way all their lives...I wish we lived closer to them but I am not going to complain to much because we could always be even farther away...we love spending time with them and I have loved watching Brayton grow up into such a cute little boy and hearing all the stories he has to tell...Thank you Gary and Brittney for letting us be such a big part of his life and for letting us enjoy his moments with you...

My Sister-In-Law: CHRISTINA

O.K. so as I was doing my Sisters Birthday Blog (Brookie) I got to remembering that I forgot another sister...My sister-in-law CHRISTINA...she had her birthday on July 18th and we were gone on family Vacation and I never posted her Birthday Blog...I hope she will forgive me...it is better late then never...My sister-in-law Christina is an amazing young women...she has amazed me from the day I met her and never ceases to keep amazing me...she is such a talented young lady...she has made a name for herself and done a good job at representing that name in a VERY GOOD WAY!!!...anyone who knows her doesn't love her...you can't help but love her when you meet her...she has competed in many pagents and done a fabulous job...she represents the Lance Armstrong Foundation and she does a GREAT job at it...they are lucky to have her on their team...she is a Massage Therapist and I have had the priveledge of getting one of her massages-it was my first massage and she likes to say she popped my massage cherry, she is a silly girl-she was so excited to give me my first massage and now I don't ever want to go to anyone else...she is GREAT at what she does and she loves what she does...she has found a career that makes her happy and that she is very good at...she is a loving sister and aunt and daughter and grand-daughter and girlfriend...she cares about everyone she meets and wants to help anyone she can...I hope her Birthday was GREAT (which I already know it was) and I hope she keeps growing into the wonderful person she is...Keep up the good work and

My Sister Brookie....

Yesterday was my sisters birthday...She turned the BIG 21....I was sick and had a sick little boy and didn't get on the computer to post anything...so today is her blog day...
She is a GREAT little sister and a GREAT AUNTIE BROOKIE...she loves her Niece and Nephews...she spoils them rotten...she has always had a GREAT sense of humor and is quick witted-just like my Mom and Grandpa and Aunts...which I am always jealous of...she is a BEAUTIFUL person inside and out-which I am also jealous of...she always knows when to stop by and give me a good laugh or just give me a break....she always has Great Advice...and she is always a GREAT Example to everyone around her...she is a Leader and not a Follower...she doesn't let anyone make her feel bad or control her...she is very Confident and Loving and Caring...she is a very talented person and loves to share them with others...the two talents I take advantage of are Cake decorating and Photography...she is fabulous at both and I ask her to do those two things all the time...she is a GREAT SISTER and anyone that knows her knows how right I am...
I hope she had a GREAT 21st Birthday!!!

The Best MOM in the WORLD!!!

Well today is my moms birthday and so I thought I would do a little post about her...
she is the BEST MOM ever...yeah I know you all think your mom is but really it is my mom that is...she is always there for me even when I don't know I need her...she has always had this sixth sense when it comes to me and how I am feeling and she just knows when I need her...I have always loved that about her...and I never Thank her enough for knowing when I need her, even when I lie and try to put up a good front and tell her I am fine she can always tell...she is a GREAT example of how a Mom should be and she always has Great advice...she is such a good Nana to my little boys and Odin is her number ONE fan...he is attached to her hip if she is anywhere near him...I love the relationship she has with my kids and that I can send them over there anytime when I need a break...she always knows how to make me laugh and she always loves me, even if I am being a Grouchy Bum she still loves me...she always forgives me for my mistakes and points out the learning experience in them when I can't see what I am supposed to learn...My Mom shows me how to love, how to be a good wife, how to be a good Mom, how to be a good sister, how to be a good Aunt, and really how to be a good person all around by the way she acts...she is the best example anyone could have in her life...I really can't say enough about my Mom...I LOVE YOU MOM!!! and thanks for being the best EVER!!! I hope your day was GREAT...

Odin and Cort

I took this video of Odin feeding Cort a bottle of formula...Cort had been acting upset, like he wasn't getting enough to eat...so I decided to give him a bottle to fill his belly and hopefully make him feel better...as soon as Odin saw me putting it together he knew what it was for and he grabbed it from me and ran into feed it to his brother...he saw me shaking it up before he took it so every once in awhile he would stop feeding Cort and shake the bottle...and then when he would pull the bottle away to shake it he would see that Cort had some milk on his chin so he took the burp rag and would lay it on Corts face...but then with the burp rag on his face he couldn't give him the bottle so he would pull it off and start feeding him again...it was all pretty funny to watch...Odin is a good helper (only when he wants to be though)...

Blessing of Stetson Cort Taylor

I wanted to get a family picture the day we blessed Stetson since we would all be in our Sunday clothes but by the time I got out of the church house and home my Husband and Odin were already out of their church clothes and so I had my Aunt Hope take some of me and Stetson so here are my two favorites...
She also snapped some of Leland and Odin that are way cute so here they are too...

Tired Husband

This is what my husband felt like after the Blessing and the Birthday Party...Odin was taking a nap in his room and I was cleaning the kitchen and Chuck was holding Stetson...when I came in the front room to sit down this is what I saw...I didn't know if I should pick Stetson up or if it would startle Chuck and make us drop Stetson...but Stetson kept rolling down Chucks body and legs farther and farther so I thought I better risk it or he will for sure fall off onto the floor...Chuck didn't even feel me pick him up...he was really, really tired...it is a lot of work emotionally and physically to do a Blessing for your little man in front of people when he is nervous and then to be our Grill Master for the party and have it be super Hot outside...he was one pooped husband...but he did a fabulous job and I love him so much...Thanks for all you do Husband of mine...

I Love you the MOSTEST!!!This is the first picture...and before I took this picture Stetson was sitting straight up...so he was already starting to fall by the time I got this picture...
This is the second picture I took and you can already see that Stetson is on his belly...so he is slipping down and down...and I let him go a little bit farther before I decided he needed to be picked up before he fell....

Water Park Fun...

Odin loves going to the water park on Main Street...really he LOVES any water...but when family was all down for Odin and Leland's Birthday and Stetsons Blessing we went to the water park and had some fun...here are some of those pictures...
The Main people in the pictures are the family triplets...Odin, Leland and Bridger...you already know Odin and Leland were born 3 days apart and Bridger was about 2 months after them...they are so much fun together and we love it...
Thanks Lacey and Amy for making such cute boys to play with my little man...who is quickly becoming my BIG BOY...I can't handle that....

The Boys Birthday...

On May 24th, 2009...we celebrated Odin and Leland's Birthday...they turned TWO...
Odin on May 25th and Leland on May 22nd...Leland is my brother Brandon and his wife Lacey's little boy...we call them our family twins...so here are a few of my favorite pictures and then the rest in a slide show...
