Vegas Trip

Whenever Chuck has time off and is home with us we try to do fun stuff instead of just sitting around the house...
I call it Memory Making Time...
so this last time he was home I surprised him and the boys and we all went to Vegas for a couple of days and checked out of reality...it was so much fun...unfortunately it was windy but we still had fun...The boys just loved staying in a Big Motel (Casino) and seeing all the fun and new stuff...and of course if we are in Vegas then we must go see Bridger and Noah-their Best Friends...so here are some pictures from out little trip...

We left on Tuesday and checked in to our room and then went over to the Stockings House for some fun...We took the boys to the park to play and get some energy out and then Dan and Amy kicked Chuck and I out of their home and said we needed to go on a date...so reluctantly we left...I always feel bad leaving my kids at other peoples houses because I worry about them misbehaving and I always feel like I am being a nuisance...but Amy reassured me that they were really good boys and they were better behaved then when we are around...Go figure...It was fun to just enjoy time with Chuck even if it wasn't long-Thanks Dan and Amy for enforcing the rule...You guys are the best!!!

(Cort and Noah)(at the park)
(at the park)

Bridger got water on his shirt when he was getting a drink so he had to take it off and as soon as Odin saw that Bridger didn't have his shirt on then Odin took his shirt off too...They crack me up...

Dinner time at Dan and Amy's while Chuck and I were out...Dan and Amy always say to us "Whats two more boys when we already have four?" I guess they are right because in this picture 2 more don't seem to mess them up at all...Sure Love You Guys!!!

At the Motel this is where Odin spent most of his time...
Looking out our window...
for over an hour when we got there we listened to Odin tell us something that we couldn't understand while he was looking out the window...finally I got up to try and figure it out for the 100th time what he was saying and I looked out and then looked at him and he showed me how he plays the Guitar and it Finally clicked...right across the street was the Hard Rock Cafe and there is a Big Guitar on the building and that is what he was trying to tell us...Duh, why didn't I figure that out sooner???...and of course we could see the planes coming and going and he LOVED that...

And this was Cort's Favorite Place the whole time we were in the Motel...he thought this little boy in the mirror was there just for him...he gave him kisses and high fives and talked and laughed with him for hours...such silly boys I have...

On Wednesday we spent the day walking the strip and checking out a bunch of stuff...I was surprised at all the kid friendly stuff I could find for us to do in Vegas...and we didn't even get to do all the stuff I looked up...and the bad part about walking the strip with two little ones is that we can move faster if we have the boys in a stroller but unfortunately the whole walk consisted of us getting on an elevator to go up to the overpass then down the elevator to go to the next elevator and the next overpass...it was a lot of up and downs in the elevators...but Odin and Cort LOVED it...they had so much fun...and Odin thought the free Tram was a ride just for him...

(by the time we had breakfast and were dressed and loaded to go check things out it was Cort's nap time but no worries he slept in the stroller...and Odin used his brothers head as an arm rest...)

(We walked through the Caesars Palace and caught the show by the Cheesecake Factory...Both Cort and Odin were mesmerized by the fire and the water and the big people talking and moving...their eyes would get really big...)

(We were hurrying back to the motel because Odin was tired and wanted to lay down but we didn't make it there fast enough and when we got back then of course he woke up but then Chuck and I were tired from racing back...the whole time we were there one little man would fall asleep and when the second little man would start to fall asleep the first one would wake up...they were hardly awake at the same time...)

(We went down to the pool in the afternoon but it didn't last long because Odin got really tired and he slept on the bed like this for a couple of hours...we couldn't even get him out of his swimsuit...)

And then on our last day there (Thursday) we went and checked out the Shark Reef...Odin loved that and Cort slept the whole time...thank goodness the boys got in free because I don't think it would have been worth the money if we had to pay for them...but it was a check out of reality and have fun time so we did and Odin really enjoyed all the animals there...

And we ate lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe and both boys Loved the Big Fish Tanks and the animal noises...

and we went to see if the Lions were awake at the Habitat in the MGM and we got lucky...they were being fed and just as we got there the trainer guy was throwing food up on the glass and the lion was standing up to get the food and I got a couple of pictures...Odin had the biggest smile on his face...it was so much fun...

Some of the stuff we did that I didn't get pictures of...we went to the Flamingo and checked out the Pink Flamingos and the Big Fish...we went to the M&M Factory and let Odin pick out what color of M&M's he wanted...we went to the Coke Factory...we had dinner with Aunt Christina...we went and checked out the Big Garden Flower Museum...
Things we missed out on...the Dolphin Habitat, the water show, the pirate ship show, and more...

And then the following happened the last day we were there...
