16 WEEKS

Sorry I know it is late but it was a CRAZY busy Weekend...posts on that to come later...but this week My Baby is an Avocado...something both my Hubby and Mom LOVE...and I am pretty sure they LOVE this baby too...

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender.

I guess I better watch what I am saying and not yell at Odin and Cort so much or this baby will really start to wonder what it is getting itself into...
I had a doctors appointment last Wednesday and I finally got to hear the heart beat...it was about 150 and that is just like my other two were and they both came out boys but everyone is still hoping to get that girl and I have even had a few people tell me that they thought there baby was a certain sex the whole pregnancy by the heartbeat and it came out the opposite...so I guess I shouldn't say it is for sure a boy cause obviously I could be wrong...
I don't care either way what I get...most people think that after having two boys I would want a girl but I am scared to have a girl after only having boys...I don't know what I would do with a girl...but I also want to have a girl so that I don't have to listen to Chuck till eternity telling me how he was right and he wouldn't ever have any girls and all that fun stuff he says all the time...he is so funny...
We do have a ultrasound scheduled for our next appointment in September but I will NOT be finding out the sex just like the other two times...I love the surprise of finding out as soon as the little one makes his or her appearance...
I am still really sick all the time...I get migraines like crazy and my lower back is ALWAYS super sore...but that is just the joys of being pregnant...I at least know it will end when the 9 months is up...
Things are going good over all and we are getting excited for the change of things...I think the boys-even little man Cort can sense a change and he is all of a sudden growing up super fast...

I never thought about the day I would have to buy 2 Happy Meals...
where has the time gone???

15 WEEKS

Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now out measure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

1. I am not feeling any better now in the second trimester but I try to stay positive and up beat and not complain too much because who likes a complainer right?



2. I hardly ever leave my house because it requires to much energy so me and the boys learn to entertain ourselves indoors.



3. I have a Doc Appointment on Wednesday and we will hopefully find that heartbeat and hear this little stinker for the first time.



4. Somedays I wake up and feel like my belly is getting bigger and other mornings I feel like I have no belly...my mind is playing games with me.



5. I already can not sleep at night and I don't know exactly why because there are so many reasons but I usually get to take naps with the boys so that counts for something.



6. I smell everything and usually everything makes me want to throw up.



7. I am not throwing up anymore but somedays wish I were just so I could get the relief that comes afterwards.



8. The heartburn is just ridiculous and I feel so bad for people (like my husband and dad) who have to deal with this ALL the time...I at least will get relief when the baby is born.



9. I am nervous about having another baby and have anxiety about how I am going to handle it but I keep the faith that it will all work out.



10. Chuck comes home this next weekend and it has been a couple of weeks since I saw him so I am curious to hear what he thinks about my belly...he will tell me if it has grown or not because he hasn't seen me on a regular basis.

My Boys...My Loves!!!

Seriously Who Couldn't Love these two...
I think they are the most adorable things EVER!!!
Even at the end of a hard day when they have almost killed each other which almost leads to me killing them both I still LOVE them...

I have been feeling really sick again and haven't had any good days for a while now but I try to stay positive and hope that it will get better...the good thing is the boys have been pretty good-for the most part-and when I am laying on the couch not wanting to move the best part is when Odin comes up on the couch and sits in my Cave and watches tv with me...it is when I lay on the couch sideways and my legs are bent and there is the space between the couch and my bent knees-that is what we call The Cave...My Aunt calls hers the Birds Nest...it is the best ever...and he usually jumps up in there and says look mom I am in the Cave...I sure love both my boys...

14 WEEKS

Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.

Points for Creativity

I gave the boys some cheese and crackers today as a snack and Cort grabbed his and took off into the bedroom so I thought I should check on him...




















He had taken this sit and spin toy and made it into his personal table and chair to eat his snack at...such a goof ball...

and of course I took a picture of Cort in his diaper with duct tape so Odin wanted his picture...such a silly man...I sure love him...

Remember when I talked about this in a post last November...

Well we are already having to do this...


Yep tonight is the first night we are going to try it but Cort might be smarter and get it off anyway...what the heck Odin was 2 almost 3 when we started duct taping his diaper on-Cort is only 16 months old...if we lay him down for a nap or let him out of our sight for too long that kid has his clothes and diaper off and is making a mess...so unless we put a onesie on him or hopefully this duct tape then he is our naked boy running through the house...I am not sure I am ready for all this grown up stuff...he is killing me...but he sure loved this duct tape idea...wish me luck and I will let you know tomorrow if it worked or not...

Enjoying the Rain

The Rain Storms we had this weekend were so nice...I loved opening my door and just listening to it come down and have the smell take over my house...





















I think the boys enjoyed it too...

On Saturday my Brother Matt got the opportunity to baptize one of his good friends Emilio...what an amazing experience to get at only the age of 18...I am so proud of Matt for doing this and so Happy for Emilio and so happy I got to be there for both of them...way to go guys...

Happy Birthday Lacey!!!

Today was my Sister-in-Law, Lacey Barnums Birthday...
I am not sure why she chose to marry into this crazy family of mine but I am so glad she did...her and Brandon are PERFECT for each other and I love how GREAT of a Parent she is...my kids are crazy monkeys compared to her kids...I wish they lived closer but they could also be farther away so I will take what I can get...Thanks for always being such a loving and kind and positive person...Thanks for your example and your constant love and support...and I hope your Birthday was a GREAT ONE!!!!

13 WEEKS

1. I am still feeling sick...I have had a couple of good days but then got knocked back on my butt...nauseous and throwing up and tired and weak.

2. I am getting excited about this baby more and more each day and can't wait till I get to meet him or her.

3. Remember there is no need to ask me what I am having because I don't know and I will NOT be finding out...I LOVE the surprise.

4. I am hoping that by next week the sickness will go away with the first trimester but if not I guess I will just deal with it and find my inner strength.

5. Odin randomly will give my belly kisses or talk to the baby...it is pretty funny because most the time I don't think he knows what is going on but then he surprises me.
