November Highlights 2011

My Mom, Cousin-Amy, and I went to the TIME OUT for WOMEN conference this year and it was AMAZING!!! you leave feeling so good about being a woman and a mom and part of the Restored Gospel and part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints...so many things that could be talked about and if you get the chance to go you very much should...
(November 12th, 2011)

Oh man-Where did Liam go??? This kid rolls all over and finds all sort of new places to hide and play...he was also getting his leg workout on by trying to lift the mattress...such a goofy little man that I sure love...
(November 11th, 2011)

My VERY SWEET Hubby had these flowers delivered on our Temple Sealing Anniversary...
Our boys and I LOVED them and got to smell them for a good week or longer....
so nice to have technology so that even though he is over seas we can still talk and be in contact...
(November 11th, 2011)

Preparing for sick days in our house...I stalked up on these medicines and I am sure we will use them all
(November 8th, 2011)

This little man's tongue is ridiculous...check it out...so dang funny
(November 8th, 2011)

Odin and Liam having some fun...Odin loves being the BIG Brother...
he takes such good care of Cort and Liam and plays all the time with them...
(November 7th, 2011)

UH-OH Wheres Liam...this kid cracks me up when he discovers new places he can roll to or under and play...such a goofy boy...
(November 7th, 2011)

My view on sick days...I laid on the floor in the boys bedroom while they played around me and I snapped a few pictures...I could barely move I was so sick so I crawled from room to room taking care of them...it is amazing how much you still have to do when you are sick and home as a single parent....but they all survived and I got better and the boys had a free for all while I was down for the count :P
(November 6th, 2011)

Such goofy older boys...Cort sitting in a green bowl to watch tv and Odin using the foot rest as a toy land for his toys...so funny
(November 6th, 2011)

UH-OH...this little man has started rolling all sorts of places and hiding from us...so funny to get down on the ground and look to see where Little Man Liam has gone off too...
(November 3rd, 2011)

This is how Cort fell asleep...I don't know how he kept sitting up but he did it and it doesn't look comfortable but he slept just fine...oh to be a kid again and sleep how every you want with not much consequence or pain
(November 3rd, 2011)

This Little Man Cort LOVES getting his picture taken...so silly...don't you just love his "CHEESE" Smile :)
(November 2nd, 2011)

Boys will be Boys

I told Odin and Cort they couldn't go across the parking to Grandma Jeanettes but of course they didn't listen...so I finished changing the baby and went to check on them...
this is what I found...
them being pulled in the wagon by Grandpa Jeanette (aka Grandpa Coons) so we put the baby in with them and took some pictures...
they LOVED it...

Now they call Grandpa-Grandpa Jeanette-because his wives name is Jeanette Coons and we call her Grandpa Jeanette so they think Grandpa is Grandpa Jeanette...good thing he is a good sport and doesn't mind...

And of course I had to get a picture of Liam in his "Favorite Aunt" shirt before he out grew it...now the argument begins on which Aunt he is talking about...hee hee

Halloween Fun 2011

I let the boys paint pumpkins this year...they aren't much for cleaning out a pumpkin and I would have to do the carving so this was a way that they could have fun doing it all by themselves...

These are the treats I made for Odins school Halloween Party...

I wanted to snap a picture of him going into school but he was so fast it isn't that great of a picture...he is always so excited to go to school...

The Boys Trick or Treating in the neighborhood...and Uncle Matt went with me to help and it was so nice to have an extra set of hands...

And then of course I had to have some fun with the website PicNik and some of our photos...the boys thought it was funny to see the different stuff we did too...

Cort was laughing so hard when I was making Odins head all big and bubbled out...it was so cute to hear...

Both Odin and Cort loved the glasses and nose...and don't forget the eyeballs...those were a hit...

Random October Stuff

I got a surprise package delivered to me from my hubby and it was these sunglasses...I love them and I LOVE HIM!!!!

I got my sew on for the very first time and sewed blankets for us...I am still needing to find some satin fabric to go with Corts fabric and then his will be done too...I took the boys and let them pick out their own fabric...of course I gave them a little guidance but for the most part they picked...

Army Halloween Party

The FRG (Family Readiness Group) threw a Halloween Party for all the deployed soldiers families so of course we had to go have some fun...they had a couple of blow up bounce houses and crafts and candy and face painting and a climbing wall and they took our pictures for us too...the boys had fun and so did I...

These are the pictures they took for us with a background they had set up...it was so cute...

Getting Crafty

I got this crafty idea on the website Pinterest and so we got our craft on while Liam was taking a nap...

I got my sew on and made these for my little man Liam...
I am thinking of making some for the older boys cause they never leave their ties on but then how will they learn :)

First one my little man Liam wore to church....he is so dang adorable...

Second Tie Onesie Liam wore and of course Cort wanted his picture taken so I obliged and then I also snuck some of Odin who really didn't care to have his picture taken...

Liam officially started sitting up by himself and balancing so why not do a bath with all 3 boys right...it is a tight fit for all 3 but sure makes it easy for me to get them in and get them cleaned and get them all out...instead of doing more then one bath...and Liam LOVES being in there with his brothers.

Odin, Cort, and Cambelle.

Hogle Zoo

While in Salt Lake spending time with cousins we all went to the Hogle Zoo...
It was so much fun having cousins there with the boys...they love spending time together...
Sometimes it was hard to get the attention of the 4 of them but we all still had fun...
it was a good time of year to go to because it wasn't to hot and it wasn't to cold...
so the animals were pretty fun and alert...

(the bottom right photo in the above collage makes me laugh...Cort decided he didn't want to take a picture with the gorilla and the other boys so he hid behind this tree...he is almost as thin as the tree but not quite...hee hee)

The Lion pictures in the collage below aren't as good as the one Gary got but it was kind of creepy to have the lion up above us and just staring down at all of us...I don't like when they just stare like we are food or something...but then again maybe they don't like all of us gawking at them...

When we got to the elephants the zoo keepers had already started the show so the crowd had gathered but i had the boys all go squat down under the sign so they could see...
the pictures of them doing that are in the collage below...

This was the boys after a day at the zoo...they were wiped out...

Odins favorite animals were the snakes, alligators and giraffes...
Corts favorite animals were the monkeys and elephants.
My favorite is Always the monkeys and gorillas...I love them!!!

Thanks Gary, Brittney, Brayton and Tristin for letting us come spend some much needed time with you and for going with us to the zoo...we always LOVE getting to see you guys...
LOVE YOU!!!

September 2011

We look forward to Peach Days in Hurricane every year...and this year Brandon and Lacey and the kids came to town so we had even more fun...

My Mom was one of the MC's at the parade and she wanted some pictures taken of her and Gwen doing their thing...so I snapped some and then later when I got home and started looking at the pictures I noticed Odins grin in almost every picture...he thought I was taking pictures of him...hee hee

My Super Cute Nephew-Blake...he is just so dang adorable I want to kiss his face all the time...

I guess we wore him out with all the cousin time and Peach Days fun...

Pictures for Daddies Birthday...

I love when the boys put on these wrestling outfits that their daddy and uncles used to wear...they are so dang cute in them...
LOVE!!!

This was the first Sunday that I put Liam in a button up shirt and tie...so of course we had to take pictures to send to Daddy...

One day while at Wal-Mart Cort saw the Halloween Cupcake mix and fun frosting so of course we had to buy it and try them...hee hee

My cousin Maddison babysat the boys while I went to the Relief Society Broadcast and the boys LOVED it...they love her so much...it is fun to have someone in the family who can babysit and love on the kids...

And of course when we got back home Odin wanted to be a Photographer again so we all obliged...hee hee

My little man Cort...

My little man Liam...

This child sleeps in the weirdest positions sometimes...

We took a trip to Salt Lake City to spend some time with cousins...it had been awhile since we made a fun trip and had fun with them...and fun is what we had...
