Odins Birthday Day!!

So if you remember we took Cort bowling on his Birthday so for Odin we heard about this place called Anti-Gravity and it is a BIG place with wall to wall trampolines and they also had a section of bounce houses and stuff like that...so we took Odin there for his big day...I had my sister Brooke come with us so she could snap some pictures of us all together so you will see her in some of the pictures...it was such a fun place and I think I burned some Major Calories...

Way to go Matt and Congrats!!!

It is Odins actual Birthday and we did have some presents for him to open that day too...he got some outdoor chalk and new slippers and some new games for his iXL...he was one happy camper...
Happy Birthday Odin.
We took him to Anti-Gravity that morning for his birthday and had a Blast I will put pictures on of that later...for those who don't know it is a room full of trampolines...wall to wall trampolines and we went crazy all over them...it was a blast...
and then later that night we went to Grandpa and Grandma Taylors swimming and had a bar-b-que and birthday cake...

I never thought I would be able to do dress up with boys but I can every Sunday...

Odin and Leland turn FOUR

So I had wanted to do a Sponge Bob Birthday Party for Odin last year but thought of it the week before and that was not enough time to do everything that I wanted to do so I did the Sponge Bob theme birthday party this year for Odin and Leland.
It was very therapeutic for me with Chuck leaving to go overseas it kept me distracted and in my little world of denial and it also helped us to make some GREAT memories with him as a family before he left.

So here are the two birthday boys in the shirts I made for them to wear on their special day.
if you can't remember Leland is my nephew and he was born 3 days before Odin so if they are together around their birthdays we throw a double party for these cute boys.

I made these life size characters and the homes of Patrick and Sponge Bob and I had them all around the grass area...and in the bottom right picture are some jelly fish I made and hung around on the trees and we had some nets and went jelly fish hunting.

So here is a picture of Leland, Brooklyn and Cambelle standing by Sponge Bob so you can get an idea of how big I did the characters.

We picked out birthday cakes from Wal-Mart and it was made out of cupcakes and the characters on top of the cake come apart and you can mix and match the heads with the bodies. We did two cupcake cakes so each boy got their own characters and their own cake to blow the candles out on.
One was chocolate and the other vanilla.

They both ripped into their presents like crazy and I didn't get any pictures of Leland and only a few of Odin but it is all good because they loved everything they got.

And then this is the picture I printed out and sent to everyone who came to the party.
I really like to do Thank You pictures instead of Cards so then you get a picture of the cute boys on their cute day.

And then this is Odin right before bed that day and he got this pillow pet from his Grandpa and Grandma Taylor and he is obsessed with it.
He kept telling us he wanted one and I kept avoiding it because I think of them as dust collectors-just like stuffed animals you can only have so many-and he just wouldn't give up so we told Grandpa and Grandma Taylor that is what he wanted and that is what they got. Whatever makes the boy happy :)

May 2011

The month of May for us was pretty much a Month to make memories and enjoy time as a family because Chuck would be leaving us to serve on Active Duty in the Army...so we made the best of our time and made sure the boys had LOTS of fun with their Daddy before he left us for a Very Long Year....Enjoy!!

My Sister-in-Law Christina and her husband Devin invited us all to their home in Las Vegas for a swim party and lots of yummy food cause it was the only day we all had free to spend time with Chuck before he shipped out...I had so much fun and forgot what the party was all about until we went to leave and Christina hugged her brother and started crying....she is the sweetest girl ever and she loves her brother so very much and I always bawl like a baby when I see her cry...
Thanks so much Christina and Devin for letting us all invade your beautiful home and for throwing such a GREAT party...love you.

Chuck hates when I put the boys in the pink shirt Cort is wearing cause it is pink but it was so handsome on Odin and now look how handsome Cort is in it...I love when my boys wear these cute polo shirts and look so grown up.

May 12th, 2011
This day we all went and had dinner with Grandma Barnum and the older boys really wanted to hold little man Liam so I had to get some pictures...they are so dang cute.

Liam was hungry-I guess and so he decided to try and get food out of Aunt Brookies cheeks...it was so funny to watch and she said it tickled so bad...

May 13th, 2011
Playing at the Main Street Water Park
The boys don't like it very much when we get there but once we get them in the water and having fun then they start to enjoy things and make it all worth going...and we LOVE going to Judds afterwards for "breadsticks and sauce and a treat" as Odin and Cort like to say.

Corts Actual Birthday

On Corts Actual Birthday-April 25th-we took him bowling...it was so much fun...

They gave him a bowling pin with his name and birthday on it and they put "Happy Birthday Cort" up on the tv screens and we took pictures (kind of hard to read) and he loved having it be all about him...

And then his main Birthday present from us didn't come until that day so afterwards we had him open his gift from Odin and from Chuck and I...He loved the presents...Odin picked out the diesel truck that holds other cars and we got him the "Big Foot" and to this day they LOVE that thing and I love to play with it just as much as he does...

And then this is the Thank You Photo instead of Thank You Cards we sent to everyone for coming to the Blessing and Birthday Party...

Zion Trip April 23rd, 2011

As if Easter Weekend wasn't exciting enough and busy enough it was also Free Week at Zion Park...so we all loaded up and headed to Zion National Park for some fun...

and when I say everyone I mean everyone...

Chuck, Me, Odin, Cort and Liam.

My Mom and Dad.

My Sister Brooke and Brother Matt.

My Brother Brandon with his family-Lacey, Brooklyn, Leland and Blake.

My Aunt Hope with her family-Randy, Maddison, Tyler, Cambelle, and Harper.

Grandpa and Grandma Memmott.

My Cousin Amy with her family-Dan, Taylor, Trayce, Bridger and Noah.

A total of 14 Adults and 14 Kids.

It was a lot of fun and we wore those kids out.

Cort Turns 2

So not only was it Easter weekend and Liams Baby Blessing but on Monday Cort was turning 2...so we also threw him a birthday party after Liams Blessing...it was nice to kill 2 birds with one stone and have all the family there for these special events...

My creative and imaginative little boy Odin.

Funny little story: When we blessed Cort we threw Odin his 2nd Birthday and now we blessed Liam and threw Cort his 2nd Birthday...it seems to becoming a tradition so maybe when Liam turns 2 we will be blessing another baby-I just have to talk Chuck into having one more. :)
