Trip to Kingman Arizona

We went to Kingman, Arizona this last weekend for a Baby Shower...
My Brother Brandon and his wife Lacey are expecting baby number 3...
His name is going to be Blake...
it was so much fun to go see them and hang out...
I love spending time with my Niece-Brooklyn and my Nephew-Leland...
they are just the cutest things ever...and they love my boys so we always have fun...
Now we are just counting down until Mr. Blake gets here...Lacey is scheduled for a c-section on June 10th-if she makes it that far...

Whenever Nana is around Brooklyn and Leland they always want to do her hair...don't be jealous of what a wonderful job they do...they can do your hair anytime for a small price... ;)

(the little ones at the baby shower-Cort loved climbing up into the different Grandmas arms and being held...he really loved Grandma Gigi)

This is the cradle my Parents and Matthew made for me when I had Odin...I love it and I love having it to pass down to my kids...

And this is the cradle my Parents made for Brandon and Lacey...it turned out so dang cute...it is a lot of hard work and I love that they put so much time into something so precious for us to pass down through our families...And they made them a little different so that they were a little more personal...Such good work they do huh?

Whenever Odin sees a Dr. Pepper or any other soda he always says Mamas Juice, and so when he saw our cups sitting like this he had to tell me who each Juice belonged to...I have got him trained to know Mamas Juice... :)

Brandon and Lacey have a swing set in their back yard and since we don't have a yard my Boys LOVED playing in Uncle Brandons yard...

We went to check out the Train...the kids had lots of fun...

And of course the scary Hoover Dam Bridge being built...I am not really afraid of heights but this bridge is freaking scary to me...when they open it and we have to drive on it I swear if we get stopped on the middle of this monster bridge I will jump out of my car and run the rest of the way across the bridge...I do not want to be stopped in my car on top of this thing...I want to just drive across it and drive fast....

Vegas Trip

Whenever Chuck has time off and is home with us we try to do fun stuff instead of just sitting around the house...
I call it Memory Making Time...
so this last time he was home I surprised him and the boys and we all went to Vegas for a couple of days and checked out of reality...it was so much fun...unfortunately it was windy but we still had fun...The boys just loved staying in a Big Motel (Casino) and seeing all the fun and new stuff...and of course if we are in Vegas then we must go see Bridger and Noah-their Best Friends...so here are some pictures from out little trip...

We left on Tuesday and checked in to our room and then went over to the Stockings House for some fun...We took the boys to the park to play and get some energy out and then Dan and Amy kicked Chuck and I out of their home and said we needed to go on a date...so reluctantly we left...I always feel bad leaving my kids at other peoples houses because I worry about them misbehaving and I always feel like I am being a nuisance...but Amy reassured me that they were really good boys and they were better behaved then when we are around...Go figure...It was fun to just enjoy time with Chuck even if it wasn't long-Thanks Dan and Amy for enforcing the rule...You guys are the best!!!

(Cort and Noah)(at the park)
(at the park)

Bridger got water on his shirt when he was getting a drink so he had to take it off and as soon as Odin saw that Bridger didn't have his shirt on then Odin took his shirt off too...They crack me up...

Dinner time at Dan and Amy's while Chuck and I were out...Dan and Amy always say to us "Whats two more boys when we already have four?" I guess they are right because in this picture 2 more don't seem to mess them up at all...Sure Love You Guys!!!

At the Motel this is where Odin spent most of his time...
Looking out our window...
for over an hour when we got there we listened to Odin tell us something that we couldn't understand while he was looking out the window...finally I got up to try and figure it out for the 100th time what he was saying and I looked out and then looked at him and he showed me how he plays the Guitar and it Finally clicked...right across the street was the Hard Rock Cafe and there is a Big Guitar on the building and that is what he was trying to tell us...Duh, why didn't I figure that out sooner???...and of course we could see the planes coming and going and he LOVED that...

And this was Cort's Favorite Place the whole time we were in the Motel...he thought this little boy in the mirror was there just for him...he gave him kisses and high fives and talked and laughed with him for hours...such silly boys I have...

On Wednesday we spent the day walking the strip and checking out a bunch of stuff...I was surprised at all the kid friendly stuff I could find for us to do in Vegas...and we didn't even get to do all the stuff I looked up...and the bad part about walking the strip with two little ones is that we can move faster if we have the boys in a stroller but unfortunately the whole walk consisted of us getting on an elevator to go up to the overpass then down the elevator to go to the next elevator and the next overpass...it was a lot of up and downs in the elevators...but Odin and Cort LOVED it...they had so much fun...and Odin thought the free Tram was a ride just for him...

(by the time we had breakfast and were dressed and loaded to go check things out it was Cort's nap time but no worries he slept in the stroller...and Odin used his brothers head as an arm rest...)

(We walked through the Caesars Palace and caught the show by the Cheesecake Factory...Both Cort and Odin were mesmerized by the fire and the water and the big people talking and moving...their eyes would get really big...)

(We were hurrying back to the motel because Odin was tired and wanted to lay down but we didn't make it there fast enough and when we got back then of course he woke up but then Chuck and I were tired from racing back...the whole time we were there one little man would fall asleep and when the second little man would start to fall asleep the first one would wake up...they were hardly awake at the same time...)

(We went down to the pool in the afternoon but it didn't last long because Odin got really tired and he slept on the bed like this for a couple of hours...we couldn't even get him out of his swimsuit...)

And then on our last day there (Thursday) we went and checked out the Shark Reef...Odin loved that and Cort slept the whole time...thank goodness the boys got in free because I don't think it would have been worth the money if we had to pay for them...but it was a check out of reality and have fun time so we did and Odin really enjoyed all the animals there...

And we ate lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe and both boys Loved the Big Fish Tanks and the animal noises...

and we went to see if the Lions were awake at the Habitat in the MGM and we got lucky...they were being fed and just as we got there the trainer guy was throwing food up on the glass and the lion was standing up to get the food and I got a couple of pictures...Odin had the biggest smile on his face...it was so much fun...

Some of the stuff we did that I didn't get pictures of...we went to the Flamingo and checked out the Pink Flamingos and the Big Fish...we went to the M&M Factory and let Odin pick out what color of M&M's he wanted...we went to the Coke Factory...we had dinner with Aunt Christina...we went and checked out the Big Garden Flower Museum...
Things we missed out on...the Dolphin Habitat, the water show, the pirate ship show, and more...

And then the following happened the last day we were there...

My New Life

I saw this video on a Friend of mines Family Blog and I HAD to post it on mine...I hope to have the strength this Mom has each and every day...such an inspiration and such a testimony she has and I am so glad that Jena Shaw posted it...Thanks so much Jena for passing on this Great message and I hope it gives someone reading my blog a Great Testimony and a Great Strength...

I know that this Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I Believe in the Power of Prayer. I Believe in our Prophet and know that he talks to our Heavenly Father First Hand and passes those messages on to us. I Believe that as Mothers we do have a Divine Role to play. I Love being a Mom and I Hope and Pray every day that I am teaching my boys what I need to and that I am preparing them for the world. I truly believe that they have some Great trials ahead of them and I will do everything in my Power to teach and prepare them. I want them to know that they can turn to their Father in Heaven in prayer for Anything they ever need. I am so Thankful for my Parents and My Grandparents and My Aunts and Uncles and Cousins and My Siblings and My Husband for teaching me every day about the Gospel and for their constant example of the Gospel and their Testimonies. I am Thankful for my Mom and for all the Motherly advice she gives me and for always being such a Great Mom. We are not all perfect and she makes sure to remind us of stuff she thinks she did wrong but I think she did a Great Job at being our Mom and continues to be a Great Mom. I know I can turn to her for anything and I can't imagine what it would be like without loving parents who teach us and love us unconditionally. I am so Thankful for my many blessings and for my many trials. I know I can always do better in life and this video makes me want to do better. I am Thankful for my husband and for all the many sacrifices he makes for our family. I know he Loves us very much and I know he would do anything for us. I watch him go through the trials he has and I want to protect him and keep all the bad and evil away from him but I know I can't do it all the time but I know he can protect himself from those things. He is such a Good Man and has such Strength. I am proud of him each and every day. I truly hope you all get something from this video and/or what I have had to say.

That's My Boy!!!

Surprise!!!

My Brother with his Daughter and Son came into town and Surprised us...
so we got to have some good old Fun Cousin time with Leland and Brooklyn...

The Saturday they were in town was the day that Sponge Bob and Dora were at Blvd. Hm. Furnishings...so OF COURSE we had to go meet them...Odin loves both their shows and so does Brooklyn and Leland...but Odin was not to sure at seeing him in person....he likes him on T.V. and he didn't mind looking at him far away but he DID NOT want to stand by either of them...so dang funny...

and of course when they come into town we have to go to the water park on Main Street...Leland and Brooklyn look forward to that every time they are here...

Funny little story about Leland at Blvd....when it was our turn to go stand by Dora his eyes got really BIG and he walked up on stage and said "Dora"...then walked to her side and said "Boots" then walked behind her and said "Back Pack...Map" then walked around to the front of her again and said "Dora...Hi"...it was so Dang funny...he was in complete shock that she was there....he is so dang cute...

Go FAST Go

Cort LOVES this Rocket Bike at Nana's house...

Cort LOVES his Daddy!!!

COUSIN TIME

Catch Up Time....

Sorry I have not been blogging...I took my computer in for a cleaning and to add some more ram so it wasn't so slow and we had a little problem...they lost everything on our computer... so now I have a new computer and I thankfully uploaded a bunch of pictures on to FaceBook before I took it in so I was able to recover some photos but I know I lost A LOT of stuff...it makes me sad but I have learned my lesson.... so now here is an OVERLOAD of blog updates... ENJOY!!!!

On one of Chucks visits home we drove by the water park on Main Street and Odin saw the water and wanted to stop so we did....Even in their regular clothes they had some fun...

When we left the water park Odin was COMPLETELY exhausted and we carried him in the house and asked if he wanted out of his wet clothes and he mumbled "no" and fell asleep like this...

we kept waiting for his legs to give out and they never did...he slept like this for about 45 minutes to an hour...
that is what you call TIRED!!!
