Blog Overload

OK everyone I have caught up on my blog...it is a serious overload...to see everything new you will have to click on Older Post at the bottom...I hope you enjoy and don't get to overwhelmed...I stayed up until 1 in the morning getting most of it done and then finished it up just barely while the boys took naps...I hope you all enjoy and laugh at the fun pictures like I did when I was posting them...
ENJOY!!!!

Daddy left to go to School

Chuck left on Sunday August 16th, 2009 to go to Salt Lake and do some schooling for Army stuff...he won't be back until Sept. 2nd or 3rd...so I tried to get some pictures with the boys before he left so he could see how much they change in 3 weeks...of course Odin wanted nothing to do with that so his are kind of blurry but better then nothing...we sure miss Chuck when he is gone but I am glad he is doing schooling and loving learning as much as he can...hope he travels safely and we will see him soon...

Odin the Photographer

Odin and Bridger wanted to take pictures because Amy and I were so we passed over our cameras and here are Odins Photography skills...I tried on a couple to show him what to do but he just wanted to push the button and laugh...Whatever makes him happy-until I said enough and took the camera away-Not so happy then...
The blurs in the photos are his fingers...he didn't understand that he needed to move them...

Washington County Fair

We love going to the Washington County Fair...it is our time for the family to be completely REDNECK and have it be normal...any other time people think we are crazy...and that is true but at the fair we blend right in...hee hee...
So we usually just make a Saturday of it...we go to some of the shows and walk the booths and then save seats for the Demolition Derby and wait for it to start...
We had a good time...Odin really liked walking around and they had a bouncy house and a bouncy slide there and Odin pretty much suckered everyone into taking him over to go down the slide...My Mom took him over first and he loved it (of course) and then when she came back to us she had him in her arms and he was pointing back at the slide to go back...when she said no he went over to My Dad and said "Papa Ide Pease" (Papa Slide Please) and it took My Dad about 3 times to figure out what he was saying and of course My Dad couldn't tell him No-so off they went ...then after My Dad brought him back it was Aunt Brookies turn to take him...it was really cute and funny to watch him get everyone he could to take him back to the slide...
Then that night I had Rebecca Garrett watch my two boys so we could enjoy the Demolition Derby...she was so excited to watch them...Odin calls her Nana Becca...she was such a sport taking them both like that...and she had helpers (Mark, Jessica, and Rick)...Odin really liked Mark and Rick...he would climb up and sit by them on the couch to watch movies...and he would tell them stories in his language (which again no one really understands but you just go with it)...and Cort does not take a bottle of formula at all...I have let him starve just to see if he would take it as a last resort and NOPE it doesn't work...so they really were troopers because he got hungry and it took us over an hour to get out of the parking lot...Jessica just had to hold him and walk around-no sitting down-and he finally cried himself to sleep about 20 minutes before we got there...I can never Thank them enough...at least they had a good time...

Family Time

Amy came into town to learn to bottle peaches from my mom and so she of course had the boys and had time to waste before starting her schooling on bottled peaches-so we hang out at my house...we finally got some pictures of the boys together...we are slackers...every time she is here we forget or get busy and forget...but we succeeded this time and here are the ones I got on my camera...
ENJ
OY!!!

Just Hangin Out

Here are just some randoms of my boys hanging out...I love to try and catch the little things...I have been able to get some good moments...I sure love these two little men and they make my daily life so fun and enjoyable...they make me laugh all the time...I hope I can just be the best mom ever for them because they deserve it...they are such sweet spirits and they have a lot to accomplish in life and I just hope I can do right by them and raise them so they follow the right path and make it through this life...

When I pull out the camera to catch Cort doing something cute Odin seems to think he needs to jump in the picture and talk to Cort...so in this picture Odin is telling Cort something...Cort loves the attention...and he probably understands Odins language-since no one else does...

Odin has figured out how to take his clothes off thanks to Bridger and so now whenever I leave Cort in just a diaper Odin strips off all his clothes so he can match...and he makes sure to come and tell me that he is in his diaper to match broder...

This is Odin just before leaving for church...he is such a handsome little devil...

Cort just hanging out in his Bumbo seat...he really likes it but not for long periods of time...enough for me to get a chore done-that is all that really matters right?

Odin Holding Cort...

Odin actually wanted to hold Cort the other day...I thought it was just a flux but then a couple of days later he wanted to hold him again...it was pretty funny because Cort would start to get upset and so I would ask Odin if I could take brother and he would say No but I would give it a couple more minutes then take Cort from him to try and calm Cort down and as soon as I would take Cort Odin would throw his hands out in front of him and yell at me "Give me my baby"...so I would have to hand Cort back over to him...this little scenario went on for about 20 or 30 minutes...it was pretty funny...I am just glad that Odin does like his brother...Sometimes...

These were the first time he held him...08-12-2009

These were the second time he held him...and he actually gave his brother a kiss...Odin only kisses Corts head though...no where else...pretty funny boy...08-15-2009

First Bath Together...

Odin and Cort took their first bath together at Nana's house...Odin was not sure he wanted his brother in there with him so it didn't last long but I was able to snap a few pictures before it got ugly...Odin can be a little territorial...

Adventures of Odin

Odin is one busy boy all the time...I wish I had half of his energy...here are some fun photos of
Odin's daily life...

Odin playing in a box...seriously this child can make a toy, gym, entertainment out of anything...he is a silly little man...

These next 4 photos were taken 07-26-2009...he wanted to listen to the radio with his headphones on...it was pretty funny....

These two photos were taken on 08-08-2009...he is our little DJ

This is what happens when we take Odin with us to get the mail...this child can make a Jungle Gym out of anything...he will play in these mail boxes for hours...we have to completely bribe him to get him to get out and come home...our crazy monkey...
Taken 08-
13-2009

Odin figured out that he can take all the cushions and pillows off the couch and jump all around on them...how fun is that...

And these next sets of photos are what happens when he is super tired...these were taken on 07-26-2009 after we got home from church...our ward is at 11:00 am so usually by 2:00 pm when we get out he is pretty tired and we can take him straight into his bed but on this day he seemed wide awake so we thought we should feed him lunch...well he wanted to sit and watch some t.v. while he ate...so we pulled up the ottoman and let him use it as a table...well his head started to drift towards the ottoman and I watched thinking he was just playing and the next thing I knew he was sound asleep...it was so dang funny...we hurried and grabbed the camera before we took him to his bed...it is pretty funny when he is so tired he falls asleep in the middle of something...we sure love our little monkey...

Army Odin...

I have wanted to put Odin in his dads army stuff for a while now and kept forgetting but I finally remembered and here are how the pictures turned out...it was hard to get him to take the clothes off when he was done...

Below are some pictures I took of Odin with his dads army stuff...it was in July of 2007 when he was just a few months old...what a cutie pie he is...

Many Moods of Stetson Cort

Here are some videos of Stetson Cort and also of Odin...they are funny boys...

Cousin Bridgers Birthday

On July 24th, 2007 my cousin Amy Stocking had a little boy Bridger...he is such a dang cute boy and we love to get together and let Bridger and Odin play...Odin loves Bridger and he calls him "Iger"...it is pretty funny...so they were here in St. George and Hurricane the weekend of Bridgers birthday so we took the boys to Jumpin' Jacks and had some fun...we wore them out and they took good naps...it was a lot of fun...and us adults had fun too...
Thank you "Iger" for coming to visit and play with us...

Chuck coming down the slide on his feet...

Family Time with the other Taylors...

When we were in Salt Lake we got to visit Gary and Brittney and their boys...we actually were staying at a motel just down the street from them...we didn't even plan that either...but it worked out perfect...they came and swam at the motel with us one day and then we spent Sunday with them...we love spending time with them...they are just the cutest family ever...and even though Odin had a hard time sharing Brayton's toys with him, Brayton was so patient and nice to him...hopefully Odin will not always be such a booger to him...Thanks for letting us crash at your house all day Sunday...
We Love You Gary, Brittney, Brayton and Tristin.

Family Vacation

July 16th thru the 19th, 2009
We took a family vacation and went up north to do the Oquirrh Temple and Hogel Zoo and Church Museum and Welfare Square and the Living Aquarium...we had a lot of fun and it was all cheap or free...we love cheap and free...My Uncle Darwin and his family came down for the Osness Reunion and so they also went to Salt Lake with us since it is on their way home and did the whole family vacation with us...we all stayed in the same motel and so this is everyone that was there...
My family (Taylors): 4
My
Parents and Siblings: 4
My Aunts family (Clydes): 5

My Uncles Family (Barnums): 8

M
y Grandparents: 2 plus 2 dogs
so if you count t
hose all up there were a total of 23 of us and two dogs...to say the least whenever we went down to the pool at the end of the day anyone who was there would all of a sudden get out and leave...I don't know why?...maybe 23 people is a little overwhelming...we had so much fun...here are some of the pictures from my camera and I will add more from my moms camera soon... ENJOY!!!

The first day we went to the Living Aquarium...it was really fun and we were able to touch some stingrays...we tried to get Odin to touch them and he was not having any of that...and when me and my sister were trying to get him to touch one it came up on and almost out the side and it fell backwards and splashed us and that made Odin really not want to touch one...Brooke and I were laughing pretty hard...

The second day we were there we got up and went to the Hogle Zoo...right when it opened so we could beat the heat...it was pretty fun but we need to go when it is so hot outside because most of the animals were sleeping because it was too hot to do anything else...over all we had fun...
The third day we went to Temple Square and to the Church Museum...it was fun to go through the Church Museum and refresh yourself on the history of the church...my memorable moment was upstairs they have the past Prophets and some of their things and what they accomplished and their history...and President Hinckley's stuff was up there...that was a surreal moment for me since he was the prophet that I remember and that I learned from...it was a cool thing to read about him and see his stuff...I loved it...
and there was a kid section and Odin had a GREAT time in there...
and of course he loved the escalators...

My sister-in-law started taking the missionary discussions with the sister missionaries in her area and the one she really loved got transfered to Temple Square...so we promised to find her and give her hugs and get pictures with her...her name is Sister Mok and she is such a sweet girl and no wonder Brandon and Lacey love her...it only took us a few minutes to find her...the second place we went she was there...we got really lucky...
This is where you would find Odin every morning when he woke up...as soon as he would wake up he would run to the door at the motel room and cry and wait for his Nana to come and get him...it was pretty funny...we had to fight to get him dressed and as soon as he was dressed he would take off to find his Nana...what a CRAZY BOY!!!
This is what the boys looked like the day we left to head home...we wore them out big time...such cute boys when they are sleeping...Odin definately sleeps like his mom and dad...we both have our hands above our heads...
